Desired experience or qualifications for applicants include:

TMB’s Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer security requirements, and implement security measures to meet requirements.




  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated
  • Be able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
  • Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate
  • Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM and other relevant DoD security guidance
  • Prepare and distribute Form DD 254s
  • Thorough understanding of security databases such as JPAS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD
  • Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel in and out processing, process initial and reinvestigations, security container maintenance and monitoring, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit requests, etc.
  • Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
  • Ability to develop and establish an effective company-wide security awareness, training, and education program
  • Responsible for TMB’s Insider Threat Awareness Program
  • Prepare for and oversee all classified meetings and Foreign National meetings
  • Overall responsibility for COMSEC and classified information systems
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written
  • FSO certification with minimum 2 years of experience as an FSO
  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Administration or related area preferred

  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification
  • Prior ISSO/ISSM or alternate ISSO/ISSM experience
  • Courier preparation procedures
